Project Description

Chronicle Digital Storytelling helps people to capture and preserve their personal memories and stories.  It achieves this by creating short digital stories that preserve life’s memorable moments.  The stories combine a narrative with images, film and music to create short videos that can be shared and enjoyed.  They also work with organisations to create walking trails and promote tourism.

Nerostorm’s involvement was to provide guidance on technologies that could be used to create a walking tour platform then to implement an iPhone app and supporting system to make this happen.  Details of digital stories and their associated media are stored on a secure, cloud-based system and iBeacons are used in conjunction with GPS on the location-aware Smartphone app to guide the user round the trail and to reveal hidden stories when the user is correctly located.
